5 EASY STEPS TO PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND YOUR DEALERSHIP NOW
WRITE A LETTER
Deliver the letter and explain it to every service customer at check out. It’s ok that they get it in the mail, on delivery and at check out. Reminding the customer more often is likely to save them from making the mistake of buying something from these marketers.
Create a short video and send it to all of the existing email adresses in your customer database. This should come from the Dealer Principal, GM, or the Service Manager. Videos only take a few minutes to create and we will be happy to help you AT NO CHARGE. CLICK HERE to see Wade Ford’s Video.
CREATE A VIDEO
Create a structured plan to consistently follow up with all of your customers. Contact your customers who purchased a service contract. As customers who did not purchase a service contract approach the end of their factory warranty, contact them as well. Doing this shows your customers that you care, and eliminates problems with customers who come in for repairs after a service contract or warranty has expired. A structured plan generates significant profit opportunities for your dealership.
TRAIN YOUR TEAM
MAKE SURE YOUR ENTIRE TEAM IS TRAINED TO HANDLE THE CALLS AND OPPORTUNITIES THAT THIS PROCESS WILL PRODUCE. Customers will want not only the warning, but the solution, and you and your dealership team have to be prepared to deliver that solution.
Compose a letter on your letterhead and have it given and explained to every customer at delivery of a new or pre-owned vehicle. Also, mail it to every customer in your database. CLICK HERE to download a template

At EasyCare we love the car business and we are committed to helping dealers protect themselves and their customers from this epidemic of illegal and unauthorized solicitations.
While no one can really stop this; the good news is that WE CAN PROTECT OUR CUSTOMERS AND OUR DEALERSHIPS. We can be proactive in educating our customers and employees about these unauthorized, and often illegal, “extended warranty” or “extended coverage” solicitations.
